Workshop
The Private Equity Group offers a year-long advanced workshop. Designed to thoroughly train select students beyond what is covered in general member meetings, the program will cover PE technical knowledge, insights on navigating the recruitment process, and interview preparation. The workshop will only accept applications in the fall and is currently led by Mikhail Talib and Pravar Jain.
In addition to traditional private equity strategies, we cover other private capital investing strategies including venture capital, growth equity, private credit, distressed debt, special situations, fund of funds, co-investments, and secondaries.
For workshop members interested in Investment Banking, we offer a year-long comprehensive banking workshop where we prepare members for banking technicals and conduct mock interviews.

FAQs
Do candidates need to have experience or knowledge about private equity to apply?
Nope! We are not expecting applicants to have a ton of private equity knowledge - that’s what the workshop is for. But being able to talk about why you are interested would be great!
What should candidates expect in the application interviews?
Interviews will consist of…
standard finance technical questions including weekly general meeting content
behavioral and culture fit questions
interest in investing and market-based knowledge
What are you looking for in a candidate?
While internships in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or other paths that might feed into a private equity career are preferred they are not necessary. We will be accepting applications for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
